If I could wear only one lip color forever, it will definitely be red. This is no news. However, with the exception of a few shades of pink and orange, I’m always open to slapping on and trying other fun lipstick colors.
Lately, I’ve taken to wearing bright colored (often called weird) and fun lipsticks colors for an extra oomph and cool factor. There’s a sort of joy that comes from going against the norm, especially when it comes to things like fashion and beauty.

1. Mac Liptensity Lipstick – Blue Beat.
We were sharing some left over items from the goody bag of an event at work and no one wanted this blue lipstick, so I snagged it for myself. Still one of my best decisions, because I absolutely love it. When I’m going for an edgy look, or just something different, it’s one of my go tos.
I’m wearing Blue Beat, which is one of the shades from Mac’s Liptensify series. It is a deep dark blue shade, with a semi glossy finish. I love that it is well pigmented, so a few applications does the job. Also, because of it’s glossy finish, it glides on and applies pretty well. However, it also transfers on to everything that easily as well which can be annoying sometimes.
