Start of something new

So after what seems like a life time of being single, being your own hero and locked into your shell, you finally decide that maybe it's time to move on and make new memories. You didn't know this before, but then you meet someone who might just be worth it. He is not movie star handsome but looks have never been your principle focus. He tries his best to make you smile and that's all that you are really after right? Love, laughter and Moments, beautiful moments. But then the fear creeps in, fear and another emotion you can't define just yet. You are almost afraid to open up your flaws to yet another person and watch them slowly come to realize that you really aren't all sunshine and bright smiles, almost afraid the picture of what love should look/feel like that you have in your head might not come to realization.

What do you do then?
Run? Wait for something that might never come? Just go for it?

Beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. Try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. Just give hope a chance to float up. And it will- Steven Rodgers.

Note to Self.

I've finally decided to stroll into this future with just my hopes and dreams. No worries. Que sera sera.

Just one word for my first day of psychiatry posting "BLEH". To think that I've actually been looking forward to this posting, i was all excited to learn about mental disorders and all that. It was a long ass lecture delivered by a lecturer whose voice was an effective sedative. My attention span is not so high, so after one hour anything the lecturer is saying is pretty much lost on me. Yeah, BLEH is the right word
I was so excited about the first day that I even dressed all bright and happy . No really, that's the word my sister used when she saw me in the morning, she even went further to ask if i was meant to be all bright so as not to excite the and for a moment i thought about changing my outfit

Nothing you haven't seen before(as a broke university student, of course i'll rock and re-rock my clothes a thousand times before i finally let go. don't curr). Everyone was in love with the way i packed my hair and to think the idea just came to me that morning, i felt all good and warm inside while humbly replying to their "i love the way you styled your hair" with "thanks, eezz nothinggg" -___-
The rain seemed to be playing with my emotions that day because as soon as i get out my camera to take pictures, it will start raining. :( so i couldn't take lots of pictures.

Still, big thanks to Saga for always helping out with my pictures even with me being a pest and all. You know the deal saga, when i'm ........... hehe

I'm still hopeful that psychiatry might get interesting/appeal to me when we actually start going to the clinic to interact with the patients.
Oh and guys, dont forget my GIVEAWAY

This is for you! Yes You

I write this for all those who have ever felt invincible
The Ugly ducklings
The Wall flowers
For all those who ever thought the only way out was suicide
The cutters
To All those who had to turn to drugs to numb the pain
For all those in pursuit of happiness that seems so far away
So I put pen to paper and put a little bit of my heart out there
For all who had to cry themselves to sleep
Whose only companion seemed to be the tears
They were always there.
The third wheels
I write this for everyone out there who has had to deal with any form of abuse
The ones from broken homes
For the misunderstood and the dreamers
For the Young girls who had to support themselves before they were old enough to understand life
For the young men who long stopped believing in life. In Love
The models struggling to keep at it even with all the rejections
For the med students who have dealt with failure.
This is for the faded beauty queens, for the little ones afraid to test the waters.
For the forgotten ones and the ones afraid to speak up.

This, This is for You.

You are perfect
You are strong
You are good enough
You are smart enough.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
Don't let life's struggles bring you down.

So grab this bull called life by the horns and pull and push till you finally conquer

Outfit || White out

Sunday, 1 September 2013
A while back I had this huge argument with someone over something as flimsy as "dressing". He suggested I do an all white look and I was already like "yah, maybe I should because I actually love the all white look and all but then he ruined it by stating his reason why he thinks I should do it. He said and I quote "because all bloggers are doing it". That just set me off ( sorta like how the spasms of a tetanus patient is set off by any little stimulation). I mean suggesting I do something because its cool and I may like it is something else but suggesting I do it because "others" are doing it mahn that just didn't sit right with me. Nah, I do not like that mindset at all!
Hey don't get me wrong, sometimes I follow trends but I will never follow it because that's what the cool kids other people are doing, i'll only do it because I like it and it suits me. Ya dig?
Okay, now that I've ranted and gotten all that off *sprinkles love and cupcakes into the post at this point *.  I'll also like to apologize to him for shutting off his point of view and carrying on with mine like a mad woman, forgive me Tee.

So I finally decided to do an all white outfit to prove that I'm not some proud asshole like he may/may not be thinking now and also because like i said i totally love the all white look. And because I don't have white pants or white sneaks you know how much I like the retro look, I went with this white pleated vintage skirt and a white sleeveless shirt.
Wore this to church today. The pictures are in black and white because i didn't like how the surrounding looked

Oh and just some quotes on conformity

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Be neither a conformist or a rebel, for they are really the same thing. Find your own path, and stay on it” ― Paul Vixie
